Renewable Energy Districts is bringing the advantages of Community Distributed Generation to you. Until now, residents and business owners had to either install their own source of renewable energy or buy renewable energy supply credits with a lower overall value through Energy Service Companies (ESCos). But recent policy changes in New York State, along with favorable incentives, have made it possible for just about everyone to buy their electricity from green generation and save money. Community Distributed Generation is a new regulation in New York State as of 2015. Because of this, we need your help to bring green power generation to your community. Right now, there is a significant waiting list before Renewable Energy Districts can start delivering you green power at a savings–this means it might take us up a year to find enough interested members in your community.
